Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, it features 60+ campsites, including RV-friendly spots with electric hookups. Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov, and fees apply. Amenities include flush toilets, potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and a dump station. Campers enjoy shady, riverside sites with boat access, fishing, and birdwatching. The area offers a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere with views of passing riverboats and nearby trails.
