Little Coon Creek - Gillham Lake

The Little Coon Creek Gillham Lake Camping Area in Arkansas offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding forest. Nearby attractions include the Cossatot River State Park-Natural Area and the Ouachita National Forest. The campground features 30 campsites with water and electric hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. Reservations are recommended but some first-come-first-serve sites may be available. The best time to visit is from late spring to early fall, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit. Additional amenities include a playground, boat ramp, fishing dock, and a dump station. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, and boating activities during their stay.
