Camp Irene is a small and peaceful camping area located in the Trinity Alps Wilderness in California. There are nearby hiking trails and the Trinity River for fishing and swimming. The campground offers basic amenities such as picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets. It is a first-come-first-serve campground, with only six campsites available, so it is recommended to arrive early to secure a spot. The best time to visit is from June to September, with average temperatures ranging from 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and dropping to 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit at night.
