Capps Crossing is a first-come-first-serve campsite located in the Eldorado National Forest in California. Nestled in a canyon beside the Cosumnes River, the campground provides scenic views of the surrounding hills and forests. Activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, and mountain biking. Campground amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and potable water. There are 19 campsites available, accommodating tents and small RVs. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures average in the mid-80s during the day and mid-50s at night.
