Nelson Point Group Family Campground is located in the beautiful Sierra National Forest in California. The campground offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the nearby Dinkey Creek. The area is great for outdoor enthusiasts with nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, and water activities. The campground has amenities such as potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, and flush toilets. It operates on a first-come-first-serve basis with 23 campsites available. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures range from the mid-70s to low 80s. Fall is also a good time to visit, with cooler temperatures and beautiful foliage. However, the campground is closed during the winter months due to heavy snowfall.
