Cascade River Campground is located in the beautiful northeast Iowa bluffs along the Turkey River. The campground offers stunning views of the surrounding wooded hills and is near numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, trout fishing, and kayaking. The campground has 28 sites with water and electric hookups, a playground, and a modern shower house. Reservations are recommended as sites fill up quickly, and the best time to visit is from May through October when temperatures range from 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't forget to bring bug spray as mosquitoes can be plentiful.
