It offers 5 rustic, first-come, first-served campsites with pit toilets, hand-pumped water, picnic tables, fire rings, and no hookups. RVs can access the site, but large rigs may find it tight. This lakeside, forested campground is peaceful and scenic, perfect for paddlers and backpackers launching into the BWCA. No reservations; a self-issued BWCA permit is required for day use or overnight trips. Best visited June–September for warm weather and bug-free fall colors.
