Located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Cherokee Campsite is a great place to camp with stunning views of Lake Superior. The area offers plenty of outdoor activities, including fishing, kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking. The campground amenities include electric and water hookups, fire pits, picnic tables, and a dump station. Reservations are recommended as the campground can fill up quickly during peak season. There are 56 campsites available, and the campground is open from May to October. The best time to visit is during the summer months when temperatures average around 70°F.
