No reservations are needed—sites are first-come, first-served; however, a Michigan Recreation Passport and a free DNR Camp Registration Permit are required. Campsites include pit toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables, but no potable water or hookups—bring your own water. RVs are allowed but must be self-contained. Nestled in a quiet forested setting near the Black Lake Trail system, it’s perfect for horseback riding and hiking. Best visited spring through fall, the campground offers a rustic, peaceful escape deep in the woods.
