Summary

Reservations are strongly recommended via Michigan’s DNR system, and camping fees apply. Campground amenities include modern restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, and a dump station. Set on the shore of Lake Fanny Hooe, the campground is forested and peaceful, with access to hiking, biking, and nearby historic Fort Wilkins. Paved roads and level sites make it RV-friendly. Summer (June–August) is best for warm weather, outdoor activities, and exploring Copper Harbor and scenic Brockway Mountain Drive.
