The campground features 53 campsites, including 15 with electricity, and all sites have access to water and a fire pit. The campground also has a central shower and restroom facility, a playground, and a picnic area. Reservations can be made online or on-site, and campsites are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
There are several points of interest in the area, including the Swift Falls Aquatic Center, the Swift County Historical Society Museum, and the Glacial Lakes State Trail. The park is also near several lakes and rivers, making it an excellent spot for fishing, boating, and water sports.
An interesting fact about the area is that Swift Falls is home to the largest wind farm in the state of Minnesota, with 137 turbines spanning over 25,000 acres. The best time to visit Swift Falls County Park Campground is in the summer months, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit. However, the fall months can also be a beautiful time to visit, with stunning autumn foliage and cooler temperatures.
