The campground is situated within the Mount Hood National Forest and is surrounded by lush forests and the serene Tollbridge Park. The area offers numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as fishing and swimming opportunities in the nearby Hood River.

The campground amenities include drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. Visitors can choose from 27 campsites, which are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are no reservations allowed for this campground.

One interesting fact about the area is that Tollbridge was once a small community that was connected by a toll bridge across the Hood River. Today, only remnants of the bridge remain and the area has been transformed into a beautiful camping spot.
