There’s no dispersed camping. Reservations are recommended via the Texas State Parks website, and fees apply (entry + nightly camping). The park’s remote, rugged landscape features desert scrub, limestone hills, and striking night skies, ideal for stargazing. RVs are allowed, but no sewer hookups. Scenic trails like the Armadillo Lookout Trail and cave tours (by reservation) enhance the experience. Spring and fall offer the best weather. The park’s solitude and natural beauty make it a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path retreat.
