The Chief Joseph Camping Area in Washington offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. There are nearby hiking trails and fishing spots, as well as a playground and picnic area within the campground. The campground has 76 first-come, first-serve campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. Restrooms and potable water are available, but there are no electrical hookups or RV dump stations. The best time to visit is from June to September with average temperatures ranging from the 60s to 80s Fahrenheit.
