Encampment River Campsite 8 is a developed, non-reservable campsite located in the Upper North Platte watershed of Wyoming. The campground is located in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The area is popular for fishing and hiking, with nearby trails leading to scenic waterfalls and serene alpine lakes.
The campground offers amenities such as potable water, vault toilets, and picnic tables. Campfires are also permitted in designated fire rings. However, there is no trash collection available, so visitors must pack out all their garbage.
