The most challenging rapid is called "Entrance Exam" which is a class IV rapid that requires precise maneuvering.

There are specific regulations for the Cane Wash run, including the need for a permit from the Bureau of Land Management, and a limit of 20 people per group. Additionally, all participants must wear a personal flotation device and helmets are strongly recommended.
