The Henry's Fork of the Snake River is a popular whitewater river run in the state of Wyoming. The ideal streamflow range for this run is between 600 and 2,000 cubic feet per second (cfs), with the best flows occurring in late May and early June. The class rating for this run is class III-IV, with some rapids reaching class V during times of high water. The total segment mileage for the run is approximately 10 miles, starting at Henry's Fork Lake and ending at the Trailhead.
The river features several notable rapids and obstacles, including the technical and challenging Box Canyon, which includes several class V rapids. Other notable rapids include the class IV Shotgun and the class III-IV Staley Springs. Due to the challenging nature of this run, it is recommended for experienced paddlers only.
