Warm and dry conditions are expected this afternoon, with minimum relative humidity values as low as 25 percent. These conditions, combined with dry fuels (grasses, leaves, twigs, pine needles, etc) and southwesterly winds gusting 35 to 45 mph, will result in elevated fire danger this afternoon. Be sure to properly discard cigarettes and matches, closely monitor farm machinery, and avoid open burning.
