* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bexar and Medina. * WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 636 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Antonio, Castroville, San Antonio Int Airport, Leon Valley, Helotes, Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Shavano Park, Cross Mountain, Olmos Park, Cliff, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Rio Medina, Sea World, Mico, Lakehills, Bader, Lackland AFB, Hill Country State Natural Area and Castle Hills. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
