The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 10 PM CDT Monday. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for Tuesday from late morning through evening. * Timing...From Monday afternoon through Monday evening, and again from late Tuesday morning through late Tuesday evening. * Wind...On Monday, southwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. On Tuesday, west at 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. * Humidity...As low as 6 percent on both Monday and Tuesday. * Fuels...Critically to extremely dry. * Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly and may become very difficult to control.
