Oux Kanee Overlook
Located twenty minutes north of Chilquin, Oregon, the Oux Kanee Overlook Day Use Area features spectacular views and a peaceful place to picnic. There is an interpretive kiosk to identify landmarks.
From the overlook, take in the cliffy, jagged rocks that rise up over the river canyon and headwaters of Spring Creek. Spring Creek feeds into the Williamson River. You may spy hawks and bald eagles gliding in the breeze just below the cliff. On clear days enjoy vistas of Mount McLoughlin and Mount Shasta, as well as valley views all the way to California.
