The one-minute case
Flight-tracker apps were built for people meeting someone at an airport: type a flight number, get a map. PlaneLens is built for the moment that actually happens every day — you're outside, something flies over, and you want to know what it is. No typing, no searching. The sky in the app matches the sky above you: turn, and the radar turns with your compass so north on screen is always real north; look up in dome mode, and the plane you see is the plane you're facing.
Everything you tap is assembled live from signals the aircraft itself broadcasts as it flies — position, altitude, speed, heading — refreshed every few seconds while you watch. A photo of the exact airframe, the route with estimated departure and arrival in each airport's local time, distance from you, even what its transponder code means in plain English. And planes that pass directly overhead are caught automatically into a logbook you can share as spotting cards.

A scope locked to your compass
The radar rotates as you turn, so the blip at your two o'clock on screen is at your two o'clock in the world. Doppler precipitation renders under the traffic — watch flights thread the weather in real time.
A dossier on every tap
Photo of the actual airframe, live route map, departs/arrives board with local-time ETAs, altitude with real-world context, estimated Mach, weight class, and the squawk code decoded — free, for every flight.
A logbook that fills itself
Only aircraft that fly directly over you earn a spot — caught automatically whenever the app is open. Long-press a catch for a shareable spotting card with the photo, route, and stats.
Live data or nothing
Route on file doesn't match the live track? PlaneLens says so and follows the aircraft instead of drawing a fiction. Every number on screen comes from what the plane is actually doing right now.

Terms of Use
Effective August 2026 · PlaneLens is a product of Snoflo. Use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard EULA; these terms supplement it.
- Acceptance. By downloading or using PlaneLens, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
- Informational use only. PlaneLens displays publicly broadcast aircraft information for curiosity, education, and plane-spotting. It is not certified for — and must never be used for — navigation, air traffic control, collision avoidance, flight operations, or any safety-of-life purpose.
- Data accuracy. Positions, routes, schedules, and estimates are derived from live broadcasts and public aviation records, which can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Estimated times are computed from the aircraft's current position and speed and are not airline schedules. Coverage varies by area; some aircraft do not broadcast publicly and will not appear.
- Subscriptions & purchases. Premium is available as an auto-renewing weekly subscription (with a free introductory trial where offered), an auto-renewing annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Any unused trial portion is forfeited on purchase. Billing, receipts, and refunds are handled by Apple; Snoflo does not process payments.
- License. Your download grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, per the App Store terms.
- Intellectual property. The app, its design, and its presentation are the property of Snoflo. Aircraft photographs are sourced from public aviation photography databases and remain the property of their photographers. Spotting cards generated by the app may be shared freely.
- Acceptable use. Do not use the app to harass, surveil, or interfere with any person or aircraft operation, or in violation of any law.
- No warranty. The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snoflo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or reliance on displayed data.
- Changes. We may update the app and these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page.

Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026 · The short version: no accounts, no tracking, and your location is used only to find the planes around you.
- No accounts. PlaneLens has no sign-up, no login, and no user identifiers. We do not know who you are.
- Location. With your permission, the app uses your device's location to show the aircraft around you. Your approximate coordinates are sent to aviation and weather data services solely to fetch nearby traffic and precipitation for your area. These requests are not linked to your identity, and Snoflo does not store your location.
- Flight lookups. When you view a flight's details, the aircraft's callsign or registration — information the aircraft broadcasts publicly, not information about you — is sent to public aviation databases to fetch its route, operator, and photo.
- On-device data. Your logbook, catalog progress, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to Snoflo or anyone else.
- Purchase data. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Snoflo receives no payment details and no purchaser identity.
- No analytics, no tracking, no ads. The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
- Spotting cards & widget. Cards you generate are shared only through the iOS share sheet, to destinations you choose. The home screen widget uses your location on-device the same way the app does.
- Children. The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone.
- Deletion. Deleting the app deletes all app data. There is nothing to request from us, because we hold nothing.
- Changes. If a future feature ever requires collecting data, this policy will be updated first and the feature will be opt-in.
