The main contributors to its flow are rainfall and snowmelt. There are several potential tributaries and dams that may affect the creek's hydrology, including Indiantown Run, Manada Creek, and DeHart Dam. The creek experiences seasonal trends, with higher flow rates in the spring due to snowmelt and increased rainfall. In the summer, flow rates tend to be lower.
