Nagels Mill Pond, also known as Nagels Pond, is a privately owned water resource located in Todd Wharf, Maryland. Built in 1860, this Earth-type dam stands at a height of 16 feet and stretches across 450 feet, creating a serene surface area of 20 acres for recreational purposes. The pond is fed by Fowling Creek and has a drainage area of 5.6 square miles, with a maximum discharge capacity of 1600 cubic feet per second.

Despite its age, Nagels Mill Pond is in fair condition, with a significant hazard potential due to its uncontrolled spillway and valve outlet gates. The dam has a storage capacity of 175 acre-feet, with a normal storage level of 91 acre-feet. In 2000, the pond underwent modifications, and it is regularly inspected every three years to ensure its structural integrity. The dam is regulated by the Maryland Dam Safety agency and meets state permitting and inspection requirements.
