Staples is a privately owned dam located in Glacier, Montana, along the TR-SAINT MARY RIVER. Built in 1950, this Earth-type dam stands at a height of 25 feet and has a storage capacity of 190 acre-feet, primarily used for fire protection, stock, and as a small fish pond.
