Northridge Lakes Reservoir Development, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a privately owned water resource managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The reservoir, completed in 1969, serves primarily for recreational purposes with a storage capacity of 300 acre-feet and a surface area of 44 acres. The dam, constructed of concrete, stands at a height of 11 feet and spans 100 feet along Beaver Creek. Despite its fair condition assessment and high hazard potential, the reservoir is regularly inspected and maintained by state authorities to ensure public safety. The spillway is uncontrolled, and the reservoir has a maximum discharge of 740 cubic feet per second. With a drainage area of 1.1 square miles, Northridge Lakes Reservoir plays a crucial role in managing water resources in the region and providing recreational opportunities for local residents and visitors.
