An incoming storm system is expected to bring a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow across the U.P. beginning Friday morning. The precipitation type is expected to be freezing rain and rain Friday, before transitioning over to mainly freezing rain with possibly some sleet Friday night into Saturday morning. Heavy, wet snowfall could be seen over the area late Saturday through Sunday as the second half of the system moves through. Some power outages will be possible and expect slick roadways.
