Farmland Industries Lake Dam in Buchanan County, Missouri, is a privately owned structure completed in 1950 for debris control purposes. The dam stands at a height of 38 feet and stretches 320 feet in length, with a capacity to store 57 acre-feet of water. Situated on TR-Contrary Creek, the dam serves multiple functions, including fire protection, stock, and small fish pond management. Despite being classified as having low hazard potential, the dam's condition was rated as satisfactory during its last assessment in 2007.

Managed by the Dam and Reservoir Safety Program in Missouri, Farmland Industries Lake Dam undergoes regular inspections, with the last one conducted in March 2014. The dam has an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 50 feet and a maximum discharge capacity of 14 cubic feet per second. With a moderate risk assessment rating of 3, the dam is considered to have adequate risk management measures in place. While the dam does not have outlet gates or associated structures, it plays a crucial role in water resource management and climate resilience efforts in the region.
