Fred Dilts No. 4

Fred Dilts No. 4 is a private earth dam located in Guernsey, Wyoming, along North Horseshoe Creek. Built in 1954 by designer Floyd A. Bishop, this dam serves multiple purposes including fire protection, stock watering, and creating a small fish pond. With a height of 26 feet and a length of 470 feet, it has a storage capacity of 91 acre-feet and covers a surface area of 5.73 acres.

Despite being classified as low hazard potential, Fred Dilts No. 4 is regularly inspected by the Wyoming State Engineer's Office, with the last assessment conducted in June 2019.
