Toycen, located in Barron, Wisconsin, is a privately owned earth dam constructed in 1972 by the USDA NRCS to serve multiple purposes such as fire protection, stock, and small fish pond management, as well as recreation. With a maximum storage capacity of 80 acre-feet and a normal storage capacity of 40 acre-feet, Toycen spans a surface area of 8 acres and drains a 0.3 square mile watershed area. The dam stands at a height of 22 feet with a hydraulic height of 16 feet, serving as a vital resource for the surrounding community.
