Toycen, located in Barron, Wisconsin, is a privately owned earth dam constructed in 1972 by the USDA NRCS to serve multiple purposes such as fire protection, stock, and small fish pond management, as well as recreation. With a maximum storage capacity of 80 acre-feet and a normal storage capacity of 40 acre-feet, Toycen spans a surface area of 8 acres and drains a 0.3 square mile watershed area. The dam stands at a height of 22 feet with a hydraulic height of 16 feet, serving as a vital resource for the surrounding community.

Managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Toycen is regulated, inspected, and enforced to ensure its structural integrity and safety. Although rated as having a low hazard potential, the dam's risk assessment indicates a moderate risk level. Despite not being recently assessed for its condition, Toycen remains an essential component of the local water resource infrastructure, providing water storage, flood control, and recreational opportunities for residents.
