The resort's best trails include the World Cup Downhill, Larch area's Ptarmigan Bowl, and the back bowls accessible from the Top of the World chairlift. An interesting fact is that the resort was originally named Laggan before it was renamed Lake Louise in 1890. For beginners, the resort's Sunny Side area offers gentle slopes and easy runs.
