Mont Villa Saguenay ski resort in Quebec offers a variety of trails for all levels of skiers, with the best runs being the black diamond "Couloir" and the blue "La Pente Douce." Few people know that the resort was originally owned by the city of Saguenay, and was sold to a private company in 2010. For beginner skiers, the "La Débutante" trail is recommended as it provides a gentle slope to practice on. The best apres ski bar is the Bar le Cactus, which offers live music and a cozy atmosphere.
