The Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort is located in the Austrian Alps and is part of the Kitzbühel Alps mountain range. The resort is situated between the Glemm Valley and the Pinzgau Valley, surrounded by several prominent mountain peaks, including the Schattberg, Zwölferkogel, and Reiterkogel.

The ski resort offers a diverse range of terrain, with over 270 kilometers of slopes and 70 ski lifts. The slopes cater to all levels of skiers and snowboarders, with wide-open pistes for beginners, challenging off-piste terrain for advanced riders, and terrain parks for freestylers.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the Saalbach-Hinterglemm resort also offers opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking. The stunning mountain scenery and extensive network of trails make it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort in Salzburg is a popular winter destination, offering 270km of slopes for all levels of skiers, with the best trails being on the South side of the resort. The ski resort hosted the Alpine Skiing World Cup in 1991, featuring famous skiers like Alberto Tomba and Pirmin Zurbriggen. For beginner skiers, the Family Park and Zell am See beginner area are ideal starting points. For apres ski, the Goasstall is a must-visit, serving up traditional Austrian cuisine and drinks along with live music and a lively atmosphere.
