Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia boasts 4,270 acres of skiable terrain, making it the second-largest ski resort in Canada. The resort offers an impressive variety of trails, including the challenging black diamond runs on Mt. Tod and the gentle slopes of the Sundance area for beginners. One interesting fact is that the resort was originally developed as a summer destination, but quickly became a popular winter resort due to its ideal location and snow conditions. For beginner skiers, we recommend taking a lesson at the Sun Peaks Ski School.
