About the Area
The Tabor Mountain Ski Resort in British Columbia is located in the Tabor Mountain Range. This range is part of the larger Rocky Mountain system in North America. The ski resort offers a variety of mountain aspects, including north-facing slopes, south-facing slopes, east-facing slopes, and west-facing slopes. These different aspects provide a variety of skiing and snowboarding conditions throughout the resort.
The best trails for advanced skiers are the Black Diamond runs on the backside of the mountain. The resort is steeped in history, as it was once a WWII training site for the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion. For beginner skiers, the best suggestion is to check out the gentle slopes on the front side of the mountain. The best apres ski bar is the Tabor Mountain Pub & Grill, where skiers can enjoy a cold beer and hearty meal while taking in the mountain views.
