Yawgoo Valley Ski Area in Rhode Island is a small ski resort that offers 12 trails with 50% being beginner runs. The resort is perfect for beginners and families, with a great ski school and plenty of easy runs to practice on. One of the most interesting facts about Yawgoo is that it was the first ski area in Rhode Island and is still family-owned and operated. For beginner skiers, the Meadowlark Trail is a great place to start, while more advanced skiers will enjoy the challenging runs on the backside of the mountain. After a day on the slopes, visitors can head to the Yawgoo Pub and Grill for some delicious food and drinks.
