Furano Ski Resort is located in the central region of Hokkaido, Japan. The resort is situated at the base of the Furano Mountain Range, which is part of the larger Daisetsuzan National Park. The Furano Mountain Range offers a variety of terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including wide open slopes, tree runs, and challenging steeps.

One of the most iconic features of Furano Ski Resort is the distinctive Mt. Tokachi, which can be seen from the slopes on clear days. Mt. Tokachi is an active volcano and is one of the highest peaks in Hokkaido, standing at 2,077 meters.
