It is a concrete boat ramp that is approximately 12 feet wide. The ramp provides access to Dowdy Lake, a small reservoir located in the Roosevelt National Forest.
According to the Larimer County website, Dowdy Lake is open to non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards. Electric trolling motors are also permitted. However, gasoline-powered boats are not allowed on the lake.
