* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to 4 inches and ice accumulations up to around two tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE..., Itasca, Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Cook and Lake Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band, the Grand Portage Reservation and the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion and, Deer Creek areas. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 1 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest ice accumulations are expected across Lake and Cook counties inland from Lake Superior. Most other locations can expect a glaze to around a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation. The greatest snow accumulations to around 4 inches are expected in the tip of the Arrowhead around Grand Portage with lesser amounts up to 2 inches elsewhere.
