Cabezon Peak Wilderness Dispersed Camping Area in New Mexico offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and wildlife viewing. The area is first-come, first-served and has no amenities, so campers must bring their own water and supplies. There are several campsites available, each with a fire ring and access to trails. The best time to visit is in the fall or spring when temperatures range from 50-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
