Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov, and fees apply. The campground features flush toilets, drinking water, fire rings, grills, and picnic tables. Set in a scenic, wooded area along the lakeshore, it offers peaceful lakeside views and great wildlife watching. Boating, fishing, and birding are popular, with nearby access to trails and historical sites like Old Cahawba. The best time to visit is spring through fall for mild weather and vibrant scenery. Dispersed camping is not permitted.
