Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov; fees apply. Amenities include flush toilets, potable water, fire rings, grills, picnic tables, and electric hookups. The wooded, riverside setting provides a peaceful, scenic camping experience with abundant wildlife and fishing opportunities. Boating and birdwatching are popular, with the nearby Eutaw Springs and Moundville Archaeological Park offering cultural and historical interest. There’s no dispersed camping. Best visited in spring or fall for mild weather and fewer bugs. The campground is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
