Maxwell-Gunter AFB Military Camping Area in Alabama offers beautiful surrounding views of the Gunter Mountains, as well as easy access to nearby points of interest like the Montgomery Zoo and the Civil Rights Memorial. The campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and there are 25 sites for RVs, pop-up campers, and tents.
