Jumbo Campground, located in Colorado’s Grand Mesa National Forest, offers 26 established campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and drinking water (seasonal).

Summary

No hookups are available, but the sites are RV-accessible (up to 45 ft). Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov, and there’s a nightly fee per site. The campground sits near a scenic alpine lake at 9,800 feet, surrounded by spruce and fir, creating a peaceful, forested vibe. Popular for fishing, kayaking, and hiking, with access to the Mesa Lakes and West Bench Trails. Best visited June–September for warm weather and full access. No dispersed camping within the campground area.
