It charges a small nightly fee. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and hand-pumped potable water (seasonal). There are no RV hookups or dump stations, but small RVs and trailers can access the sites. Nestled in a scenic, high-alpine forest near South Fork, the campground provides a peaceful, rustic experience with nearby hiking, fishing, and ATV trails in the Rio Grande National Forest. Best visited from late spring to early fall for mild weather and full access to trails and water.
