No reservations or permits are required, and camping is free. There are no amenities: no toilets (you must pack out waste), no potable water, no fire rings, and no picnic tables. RV access is extremely limited with no hookups. Expect a rustic, secluded experience in a dense, subtropical forest near crystal-clear springs and the scenic Juniper Run. Popular for paddling and wildlife viewing; nearby Juniper Springs Recreation Area has trails and facilities. Best visited October–April for cooler weather and fewer bugs.
