There are several hiking trails in the area, including the Foothills Trail, which spans over 70 miles. The campsite provides basic amenities such as fire pits, picnic tables, and vault toilets. The campsite operates on a first-come, first-serve basis and has 13 campsites. The best time to visit is from late spring to early fall, with average temperatures ranging from 60-80°F. As the campsite is located in a remote area, it is recommended to bring all necessary supplies and provisions.
