**URGENT FLOOD WARNING FOR BRANTLEY COUNTY** – A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Satilla River at Atkinson in Brantley County, Georgia, with minor flooding currently occurring and forecast to continue. As of 8:45 PM Saturday, the river stage was at 14.0 feet and expected to crest at that level tonight. At these levels, Warners Landing, Louis Landing, secondary roads around KOA campgrounds, and River Rock Road will experience significant flooding. Residents in the Atkinson area and surrounding communities should avoid flooded roadways, do not attempt to cross swollen waterways, and remain alert for additional updates from the National Weather Service Jacksonville. This warning remains in effect until further notice, with the next statement expected Sunday evening at 9:15 PM EDT.
