There’s no potable water, so bring your own. Fees are modest (around $12/night). RVs are allowed (up to 30 feet), but there are no hookups. Nestled in a peaceful, forested setting within the St. Joe National Forest, it’s a scenic base for exploring nearby trails and the popular Emerald Creek Garnet Area—where visitors can dig for star garnets. Best visited late spring through early fall, the campground provides a rustic, quiet experience ideal for nature lovers and rockhounds. Dispersed camping is not available on-site.
