Reservations aren’t required, and camping is free (no permits or fees). Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings; however, there’s no potable water or electric hookups. RVs may fit in the parking area, but there are no official RV facilities. The park has a quiet, grassy setting with scattered trees, perfect for a relaxed, low-key stay. Nearby, visit Chain O’Lakes State Park for hiking, canoeing, and fishing. Best time to visit is late spring through early fall for mild weather and green surroundings.
